At the leg ending we use a raw-cut edge with vertical silicone strips to keep the leg in place without the pressure that creates the dreaded sausage effect. The bib straps are stretchy enough that you can pull the short down for a pee break without removing your jersey and bibs, while the floating construction allows you to cross the straps on the front or the back, whichever works better for you.
